If it's e-waste, we can recycle it.

From computers to office equipment, circuit boards to alien technology, e-Waste Recycling is your source for the proper disposal of electronic waste. Our e-cycling center follows all EPA rules and guidelines and your electronic waste is never dumped overseas -- a promise we've kept since our inception in 1998.

Assuming your equipment has no further value, the ewaste is broken down and separated into its basic material categories. From there, each material is shipped to its corresponding recycling plant: metal recycling center, glass recycler, plastic bailer, etc.

NOTE: If your e-waste consists primarily of computers, please visit our computer recycling site.

Why it's so important to recycle e-waste

Electronic waste, sometimes called e-scrap, technotrash or Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is far more dangerous than people are aware of. For example, cathode ray tubes (CRTs) contain contaminants such as lead, cadmium, beryllium, mercury, and brominated flame retardants. In the United States, an estimated 70% of heavy metals in landfills comes from discarded electronics, even though ewaste represents only 2% of landfill trash. What's more, these materials can poison soil and seep into water supplies, affecting the health and well-being of people in the area.

Why it's important to carefully select your e-waste recycler

Unfortunately, electronic recycling has become so competitive that some eCyclers are cutting corners, while others are blatantly breaking the law. Scores of news stories have cropped up over the years about recycling centers that are either dumping e-waste in landfills or are shipping the e-trash overseas to developing nations. This isn't just bad for the environment, it can be bad for your company, too, if that equipment is traced back to you.

e-Waste Recycling protects you from liability

Our company takes title to your equipment. That is, your property becomes our property and you are no longer responsible for it (many so-called recyclers are actually brokers that do not take title). Furthermore, we'll provide you with a certified report detailing the services performed.
